Brooklyn Douglas '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I have been able to hold a ball I’ve always loved the game of basketball. It was and still is my favorite thing to spend my time doing. As a little girl I always loved to be doing something active and that quality has never gone away. Currently at my high school I play basketball and volleyball and have a huge passion for both. Basketball has been such an incredible part of my life because it made me who I am today and is continuing to shape me. I also believe that I am a better student because of getting the opportunity to play basketball and bring it into my school life. I have an extremely high work ethic for both and will continue to maintain that as I set more goals for myself. Academically my goal is to stay number one in my class and continue to excel.

                       I am constantly working on different things when it comes to bettering my game. For my high school team, I have been called upon to play every position as we don’t have much height. My primary position is a guard where I can better lead my team but can be put wherever I am needed. As for my summer team I also can play every position which makes me an asset to the team. I am thankful to the Lord above for every single day that I get to step foot on a basketball court. I believe having the qualities of leadership, dedication, and hard work would make an impact to compete on any college team.
