Personal Statement
Playing sports has always been a large part of my life. Playing at the college level always seemed as a dream, but as time has passed it is becoming a more realistic goal. With having a determined mind set, I can get through anything as a player. I am a committed player, not only to my team but also academics. When playing I don't appear as the team's "hero", I do what is needed and I get it done. Always going the extra mile to try and help. I am vocal on and off of the court. I can be trusted to tell the other four girls on the court what needs to get done within those thirty two minutes for us to win. With playing sports, school always comes first. Before each practice, each game, each tournament I make sure I have completed what needs to be done with my school work. I also make sure I am well prepared for each game of mine. Keeping the same pregame behaviors. I have developed a positive mentality when trying to balance the two. I am an outgoing player; I love to do and learn new things, whether it's a new play or a difficult skill I have been wanting to learn.
