Personal Statement

My name is Maitlin Young and I am currently a junior at Astoria Highschool.  I am a shooting guard for the Astoria Lady Fisherman. Since finding my passion for basketball in 7th grade I have aspired to play D1 ball, while maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I have lived all over the country, my fathers job requires him to move every few years. I’ve been exposed to unique opportunities through this life style, and it has helped me become a resilient, coachable, and hardworking human.
