I am heading into my senior year at Damascus Christian High School. I have played on a variety of different basketball teams for 11 years now. Being a leader is something that is very important to me, on my team, and in many areas of my life; I hope that if possible I can take that skill onto the college court. I strive to be a player that coaches desire to have on their team not just because of skill, but attitude, willingness to listen, humility, and work ethic. After the challenge of two interrupted years due to Covid 19, my sophomore year I transferred to Damascus Christian High School. My team pushed me more than I ever thought and I grew tremendously as a player. Although we ended up losing the state championship game and coming in 2nd, I had an incredible game with a double-double and 19 points. This past year my team and I had a hunger to win from the past year's finish an were able to take home the championship. Outside of basketball I compete in volleyball and track for my school at the varsity level, in which we have had two state championship titles and a 3rd place finish. Academically, I have maintained a 3.86 GPA and hope to raise it to a 3.9 or higher by the end of this school year. This year it is my goal to grow as an athlete, student, and leader in all areas of my life. I have felt God pull at my heart to be a leader in many different areas including countless hours of worship teams, youth and chapel leadership, and YoungLife. Honoring Christ in all I do is something that I desire to do consistently through actions and words, on and off the court.
