My name is Muriel Jones Hoisington, I’m a 5’8 point guard at Pendleton High School in Pendleton, Oregon. I was awarded with being first team All Conference 2 years in a row and also Honorable mention All State 2 years in a row. I am currently a starter in my AAU team and a 2 year varsity starter for my high school team. I think my talent and hard working skills would be a great match for your program. I have been playing basketball ever since I was 5 playing in 3 on 3 tournaments with my cousins. I have always thought of basketball as a gate way out of stressful situations and to calm myself.  Growing up my living situation wasn't the healthiest so I would go outside and play on the courts till dusk or even till the street lights came on.  Basketball has always been a part of my life so I am hoping to continue in college. I think I'm a great candidate for your team because I am a dedicated, hardworking, team player. I have an excellent work ethic so I work hard and earn the grades I deserve.I currently have a 3.952/4.0 GPA and taking honor classes.
