Riley Simon '21 Recruiting Profile

I look forward to continuing my growth after high school by choosing a school that will challenge and inspire me both academically and athletically.  

My goal is to study secondary education and become a high school math teacher.  I also want to become a high school coach as I love what sports has to offer and what it has provided and taught me.  I want to pass that along to the next generation of young people.  

Athletically, I plan on being a dynamic player, leader, and positive influence on the basketball team.  I have been fortunate to have been captain of my high-school varsity basketball team since my freshmen year.  During this time, I feel I have been a good leader and have continued to grow and get better each year.  I do know however that this next level will be a time for me to take on new challenges which will require me to seek out those teammates that have already gone through this experience.  

I will continue the hard work that has been instilled in me through my parents and coaches as well as play hard each and every practice and game.  Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the basketball court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects on my team, my coaches, and my school.
