Personal Statement

*****Committed to Georgia Southern University*****

Check me out at iamjordanstrange.com

Hi, my name is Jordan. I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old in recreation league ball. Although I’m currently in the 9th grade, I am the starting point grade on a high school team, AC Flora High School in Columbia, SC. This is my fifth (5) year starting at point guard. I currently play Club Basketball with SC Future 2018. Basketball is one of my passions. I love to play because I feel free to be creative and help my team win. Not only do I love to score but I like to dish the “rock”, make steals and block shots (that's the funny part because no one expects me to). I follow instructions well and I work on improving my game and myself every week. Many coaches tell me they like my "speed and toughness".

Off the court I like to be successful as well. My academic life is very important to me. I'm always on the A/B Honor roll and plan to major in physical therapy (to make it a career) or sports management (to become an athletic director) once I finish college. I also play tennis, violin, I have a Brown Belt (Black Strip) in American Karate and I run track.

I also love to read. One of my favorite books right now is "Through My Eyes: A Quarterbacks Journey" - Tim Tebow. I learned to never give up (no matter how things look) and always stay with my faith!

I have committed to....(WATCH THE VIDEO!!!)

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
