Crystal Townsend '26 Recruiting Profile

Greetings,

My name is Crystal Tania Townsend. I started playing basketball a little different. Most student athletes start out at an early age with other programs or in middle school. I started my basketball journey playing AAU Travel Ball with The Lady Angles under Coach Markus Langley. So glad I did! 

We both discovered that my greatest strength is the ability to play defense well, and I actually take pride in it. My defense is very strong, and I stride to gain strength daily. My weakness is the length of experience. Because of my height, focus, and size, I have the ability to steal, be alert, and excel on the defensive end of the court.

My daily routine and practice helps enhance my strength and skills more and more.
