Personal Statement

I am looking for an opportunity to follow my dreams of becoming a Special Education teacher, playing college basket ball and someday, becoming a basketball coach. I have always had the dream of working with children, especially children with special needs. My mom has always been my inspiration. Watching her and her love for children has given me the motivation to want to work hard to achieve my goals. I'm a firm believer in putting academics first. Any college I attend, I will put forth 100% as I did in high school. My college goal is to graduate with honors.

Playing college basketball has been my dream since I can remember. I love the game. I like to think of myself as versatile player on the court. I can adapt to any type of playing and make adjustments quickly. I can successfully play any position. I enjoy playing with different style of teammates. I am a very coach-able player. I believe there is always room for improvement.  I enjoy and am always willing to mentor other players and be a men tee to continue to grow in the game.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
