This past year, I recently suffered an injury to my knee. At our first game of the 2016-17 season, I tore my ACL and meniscus. I then had surgery on December 30, 2016. Right now, I am currently attending therapy at Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. In this upcoming summer and fall, I plan to continue therapy and eventually move into a workout program through Orthopedic Institute. Therefore, my stats are not entirely accurate.
Besides this though, I plan to attend college after high school and play basketball as well (probably at a Division II college/university). I am leaning more towards majoring in orthopedics, perhaps becoming a P/A or athletic trainer; however, that may change. I also think I want to minor in history. Later in life, I would love to travel too.
I am very coach-able and always ready and willing to learn and improve. I also am a great leader, and so I love to help guide others in various drills and workouts. Most of all, I am very hard-working, and I always strive to be the best I can be in both athletics and academics. In basketball specifically, I take pride in rebounding the most. It is something I can bust my tail at on both ends of the court, no matter what. The amount of effort I put into what I do makes me stand out.
