Personal Statement

As a student athlect, my goals and aspirations are to continue sports throughout my college experiences. With an highgrade point average and a character of hope, leadership, and motivation I feel I would be an amazing candidate for any team that sees interest in my game. As of now I have the height and skill for almost any position on the court. The things that sets me apart from others are my determination to be great at any sport I play (basketball, volleyball ).

Nominated in 9th grade as a student for having a curiosity of learning for achieving Principal list. Dean's List (Grade 12th)- Maintained all As and one B. With conduct of E's and S's.
Activities Girls Varsity Volleyball Team (Grade 9th- Present)- Engaged on Soulsville Varsity Volleyball team, had to maintain self control and leadership. Facilitated the team as a setter and a right-side hitter; positions that require patience. Energized the team with motivating comments on and off the court. Played in High level Orchestra (Grade 9th- 11th)- Participated in the high school Symphony Orchestra from 9- 10th grade. Performed rigorous pieces of music as a Viola player. Varsity Girls Basketball Team (Grade 10th- Present)- Led the Soulsville Girls Basketball team as a captain in Junior year. Motivated teammates to do well, work as a team and to do what was expected. Crossover Experience Camp leader (Grade 10th)- Supervised a group of 10-15 children during summer basketball camp. Helped children learn discipline and dedicate on and off the court.
