Samantha Wise '26 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing basketball since I was five years old, and the game has been a huge part of my life ever since. I love being on the court and doing whatever my team needs — whether that’s playing tough defense, making the smart pass, or stepping into any position. Coaches tell me I have a good basketball IQ and that I see the floor well, which helps me keep everyone involved and make the right plays.

Off the court, I take my academics seriously and work hard to stay disciplined in the classroom. I’ve also had the chance to take on leadership roles as a Student Council officer and as my Senior Class President. Those experiences have taught me how to lead by example, communicate with others, and stay organized — skills that I bring to my team as well.

My goal is to keep improving and earn the opportunity to play at the college level. I’m ready to put in the work, keep learning, and bring energy, leadership, and passion to whatever program I’m part of.
