Brianna Pinson '18 Recruiting Profile

First allow me to express my thanks to NCSA for this opportunity to be able to introduce myself to all who will view my profile. It is an honor to be associated with such an elite firm and it's associates.

My name is Brianna Pinson and I am 17 yrs old, currently a senior at Klein Forest High School located in Houston, TX. My former high school til the end of my junior year was Harmony School of Advancement. I served as the starting point guard for the past two years on the Varsity Girls Basketball team. We were Regional Champs for the 2015-1016/2016-2017 season as well as State Runner-Up. I was named TCSAAL All-State and TCSAAL All-Region sophmore and junior year . I was also voted MVP my sophmore year.  I currently hold a 3.2 GPA and I am studying hard to maintain and to drive my GPA higher.

My collegiate goals/aspirations are to be part of a team with a rich history in mentoring young women as myself into becoming the best ball player they can be.  I want to major in Business/Marketing and minor in Economics. It is my long term goal to open a Athletic Training Facility where I can coach and mentor young athletes as I have been mentored.

I believe I would be a good candidate for your team because first I'm a leader who works well with others. I'm self-motivated and determined to be the best person/athlete I can be. I'm blessed to have had a positive/nurturing upbringing. It has taught me to be an effective leader not only on the court but also in my everyday life. I am academically driven and gifted in the game of basketball with room for growth. I consider myself coach-able and take criticism well. It is such criticism that has pushed me to overcome fear and achieve what I have thus far. 

I have a wonderful support system through my family & church family that helps me to remain humble and accountable. It is with the above mentioned traits in character/academics that set me apart from many of my peers aspiring the same goals.
