Personal Statement
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I have always been athletic and have a love for sports. My drive and determination started at the age of 6 when I started gymnastics. I excelled and was quickly moved up many levels as I started to compete. By the age of 9 I was competing at level 8, spending 5 days and close to 40 hours a week in the gym training. I was determined to go as far as I could take it, unfortunately the cost was getting to be too much for my parents to handle. I started participating in sports again in middle school doing Volleyball, soccer, track and of course basketball. I started out not knowing much about the sport I have come to love, but I quickly learned. I'm always trying to better myself and my skills. I would love to attend a college that can challenge me both in academics and athletics. My parents divorced and my mother and I went through some pretty rough times. Through it all she taught me to be patient, humble and to never give up on my goals and dreams. My motto is NEVER GIVEN, ALWAYS EARNED. I remind myself daily of where I have come from, what I've learned, and how it's made me a better person. I'm looking to major in Business or Veterinary medicine. I have had an A,B, and C plan for my future since I was a freshman in high school. No matter what I will succeed at my goals and will accomplish all my dreams. Thank you for taking the time to read and learn a little bit about me. I look forward to be given the opportunity to show you what I can bring to a team.
