I've been blessed and fortunate to be mentored by many coaches through my athletic path. Discipline, grit, & perseverance are important to me. I've been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and started competing at club level at the age of 8. Since then, I fell in love of the game and through failures learned to respect the game. I've learned that mental and emotional intelligence is just as important as ability. I strive to get better as not only an athlete, but as a person over all. I want to compete at the next level while learning from others, sharing my strengths, & playing the game I adore. My long term goal is to study and practice in the field of forensics. Outside of basketball, I enjoy running cross country and was able to earn Regional accomplishments. I'm actively involved with my youth ministry and community service including Special Olympics. Giving back is special to me. I continue to coach 5th & 6th Grade Little Dribblers. It has taught me relationship building and trust. It allows me to pay it forward and I'm hoping to teach my girls to appreciate and love the game like I did at their age.
