Rachel Sarlls '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rachel Sarlls and I'm a sophomore at Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu, Texas. This is my 2nd year on the Varsity Girls Basketball team. I was honored to make the Varsity team as a freshman. I knew I would have to work very hard to earn my spot and show my coaches and fellow teammates that they could rely on me to do my best. I was able to work hard and become a starter my sophomore year. I really enjoy playing basketball and would love to continue my dream of playing basketball at the college level. I always try to be the best player and teammate to my team. I try to always keep a positive attitude and cheer on my teammates. If they do well, I love to celebrate their accomplishments with them. If they have a bad game, I try to cheer them up and encourage them. I want them all to do well. It's not a competition amongst teammates. We are one team. When one does well, we all benefit.
