Alexis Purcell '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Lexie Purcell. I am a 3 year varsity player at a 6A high school it north Texas, graduating  2022. I primarily play Point Gaurd, but I have the ability to contribute from multiple positions on the floor. I plan to major in psychlogy and minor in criminal justice in hopes to pursue a career in Forensic Psychology. As a point gaurd, I accept the role as the court general. I believe it takes 5 united players in order to be successful on the court, and can help solidify a positive team attitude. I bring speed when playing and pour energy into my teammates. I am coachable and tend to crave coaching in order for me to be the best I can. My resiliency allows for me to ignore outside influences and focus on the team goal. I am a defensive threat, my speed allows me to thrive in transition and see the court in its entirety. Academically, I am at the top 10 percent of my class and participate in advanced classes.
