Emily Ickert '26 Recruiting Profile

I am Emily Ickert, a class of 2026 shooting guard. I have been playing basketball since I was four years old. My goal is to play at the collegiate level. I put hard work into improving and perfecting my skills. I have good shooting form and am able to shoot from all spots on the floor. I am coachable and lead my teammates by example. I adjust well to different situations and take coaches' feedback well. I enjoy working hard and seeing the results. Not only do I strive to advance myself in basketball, but also in volleyball and softball. I am on the varsity volleyball and softball teams at my high school, where I also lead my teammates. I do not have much offseason, but when I do, I am improving my athleticism. 

You will not only find me pushing myself on the court and field, but also in the classroom. I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am currently ranked at the top of my class, and I participate in all the honors classes my school offers. I am also a member of the National Honor Society and have been on the A honor role every year of high school. In addition to athletics and academics, I am active in my church and have participated in several community service projects. In college, I am determined to continue my academic advancement and hone my basketball skills. Most importantly, I want to attend a college with a great community atmosphere.
