Basketball is more than just a game to me—it’s a source of energy, challenge, and growth. I thrive in the fast-paced environment, where every second counts, and the pressure pushes me to perform at my best. I am a competitor. I understand the game deeply and take pride in executing plays and leading my teammates on the court. When I am not practicing with my team, I am in the gym working on my handling, shooting and defense. I also watch my games back regularly, which has made me recognize my strengths and weaknesses so that I am able to focus on improving. My coaches appreciate my ability to get along with my teammates and I am always pumping them up. Playing college basketball will allow me to surround myself with others who share my passion and drive for the game.
Off the court, I am dedicated to balancing academics, volunteering, and my commitment to basketball. Apart from those things, I enjoy baking, fishing and nature photography. My goal is to graduate high school with honors and pursue a degree in biology, with aspirations of building a career in the health field. Although, my teachers insist that I should be a professional writer. I have coached younger basketball players during camps and that experience has convinced me that I will be coaching my own team one day. I know that nothing worth having comes easy, and I am prepared to work hard, both in the classroom and on the court, to achieve my goals of excelling as a student and a player.
