"The hardest person to lead is yourself." ~Andy Stanley
In my family, everything we do is built around our family values. Leadership is one of our core values. I am a quiet leader on and off the court. Watching, learning, and following my parent's leadership has encouraged me on the court in three ways: Honor the family name, respect those in authority, and be an example. Every time I step onto the court, I think of ways to honor the team name, my coaches, and my family. I use basketball as an outlet and platform to compete at a high level, build lasting relationships, and do good within the community. Playing college basketball is a stepping stone to building relationships on and off the court and doing some good in the accounting field. I view basketball as a tool to shape my character, teach life skills, and provide opportunities to impact my generation.
