Rae-Ana Cain '14 Recruiting Profile

I would like to attend college with the opportunity to play women's basketball and pursue a degree in  zoology. My dream is to one day be a professional athlete and to get into the WNBA. I have been working hard to get to that level since my setback with an ACL injury that occurred in 2012. I was determined to get back on the court, which I have done so. It was a long recovery, but with a lot of hard work and determination for my passion for the game, I came back stronger and on the court and off you would not be able to tell that I had such an injury.Thru all of this, I have had a great and positive attitude, and definitely a hard worker.  I am a shooting guard, and each game I score double digits. My rebounding skills are extraordinary. I will come out of know where, grab the ball strong, and that rebound will be mine. I believe in team ball, because there is no "I" in team.   I believe that If you want something in life, you have to go after it. Success is not handed nor given, it has to be earned.
