I've never been scared of working hard, even if I know that my competition was better than me. Ever since I was little I've grown up playing at a older age than me and that was never easy. But I didn't give up, even when I was sitting on the bench for a whole half, or I was the person that got subbed out to let someone else have more playing time, I never gave up. This trait still sticks with me know and I hope it sticks with me throughout my whole life as well. This trait isn't just seen in basketball but also in academics, I am in many higher-level classes such as AP or honors classes with a weighted GPA of 3.89 and a normal GPA of 3.96. I am a smart basketball player; I find the lanes in the defense then direct my players to cut there. I have practiced the basics of basketball for as long as I remember playing the game, such as dribbling with both hands and eyes up, finishing with both hands, and talking on defense, etc. I'm also very controlled in the game and in myself, I like to control the game and whether or not we play fast or slow and emotions never get the better of me on the court. I'm a hard-working individual and I expect everyone around me to be the same, but that being said. I'm also a chill, lighthearted, funny person and I don't have problems trying to bond with many people. College basketball has been a dream since I was little and finally now, I have the chance to make it a reality.
