Madison Sims '21 Recruiting Profile

I’m Madison Sims, but I go by Madi! Currently, I am a 19-year-old unsigned incoming college freshman in the fall with all years of my NCAA eligibility left. I live in Los Angeles, California. 

I am a 5’8 versatile point guard with the ability to pull up at the three, convert on fast breaks, court awareness, and the ability to drive to the basket and finish with contact. Analyzing film, asking questions, watching basketball games on every division, and being surrounded by like-minded people further advance my basketball IQ.

I’ve played basketball competitively since I was 5. My highschool alcaldes include the following:

1. 2x First Team All Conference
2. Four Year Varisty Starter + Captain
3. 14PPG shooting 37% from FG
4. 87% FT 

COVID-19 robbed me of my senior year of highschool, so unfortunately I did not get a senior season. However, I still play heavily. I am playing with the Women’s Drew this season, do semi-pro runs with ThisIsHerGame on Sunday nights, play in Santa Monica’s Division 1 Women’s league on Saturday’s, and run/skill sessions with All In Basketball in Westminister, CA. 

I’m a very determined and tenacious 5’8 combo guard in Los Angeles, California. I have faced a handful of adversity, but have learned the greatest skill from it - mental toughness and perseverance. 

I’m eager to show collegiate basketball what I can bring to the table.
