The reason I am who I am today is because of my work-ethic. I enjoy pushing myself to become a better all around basketball player. One key experience that I learned over the years that has helped me mold my character is; sometimes you have to lose in order to win. One way I like to grow as a basketball player is after a game. I like to reflect on what I can do next game to help the team. I will take those reflections, put together a plan and then work on getting better. I firmly believe that with my athletic ability and drive to become better I can help lead a team to success.
What separates me from the crowd is my personality. I have a life giving attitude off and on the court. So you can see me cheering on my teammates even if we're losing, or we aren't playing up to our potential. Another thing that sets me apart is my competitiveness in the classroom. Although I love playing basketball I also want a good challenge academically. A great education is very important to me and my future. I thrive on being a student athlete and being able to balance these two areas.
