Emily Sorenson '23 Recruiting Profile

I would love to attend a college where I can get a degree in what I love, but also where I could play basketball. These last two years of high school I have worked hard to better my skills and increase my strength. I am a hard worker and give my all, all of the time. I am different from others because I am able to successfully balance school, work, and sports. I can be successful in school, get good grades, all while continuing to work hard and give my best on the court. Finally, my character. I do not play for myself, but I play to give glory to God, and I play to help my teammates. I believe in having an uplifting attitude on and off the court, and being humble in victory and gracious in defeat. I go onto the court to give my best, encourage others, and never give up. I believe these qualities make me a good candidate for a college basketball team.
