JaLynn Gardner '24 Recruiting Profile

          My name is JaLynn Gardner and I am in 12th grade. I am originally from Connecticut but I moved to Florida about 3 years ago. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade right away I knew it was a sport I would love. I feel like I was always the person to get everyone ready and pumped up before games and just in general. I always bonded with my teammates right away, for example when I moved here and started playing for Charlotte High school, my teammates and I got along very well right away. I have a deep passion for volleyball and have for about 3 years now.  

           Some of my best personality traits are happy, hardworking, caring towards others, and good sportsmanship. I feel that teamwork is one of the most important parts of volleyball. If you don’t communicate and work together as a team you won’t be successful. I would love to pursue the career of a veterinarian.  I have always had a special connection with animals so I figured I should think about doing something in the medical field.
