Sydney Schwanbeck '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Schwanbeck and I am a class of 2022 MH/RS for Synergy Volleyball Club and MH/S (6 rotation player) for Pottsgrove High School.  I pride myself on being able to do or learn whatever my team needs - I learned to set my Freshman year because that is what my coach needed.    I consistently challenge myself to help whatever team I am on to become the best team we can be.  This year I was selected as Co-Captain of my High School team, as a Sophomore, and was selected to attend USAV HP in Franklin TN.  These are two things I am very proud of.     

Academics and Swimming are also very important to me.  I am a distinguished honors student holding a 4.18 GPA and was the president of the National Junior Honor Society in Middle School.  I am looking forward to hearing if I make the National Honor Society this year.   As a Freshman on my High School varsity swim team, I was a part of a school record breaking relay in the 4x100 and I have my goals set on a few more records in the 50 and 100 freestyle before I finish High School!

I am looking for a school that has a combination of a great academic tradition and high level volleyball, who is looking for a student athlete that can contribute at the highest levels in both!
