Alaina KOTWIS '23 Recruiting Profile

I became passionate about beach volleyball on the first day I set foot on a sand court a little more than a year ago. I have competed in indoor volleyball since 7th grade as a DS and libero on travel club teams and high school. Since Covid, I have transitioned my efforts to solely beach volleyball. I am excited to be a part of the Grit Volleyball program in Northern Virginia. My strengths on the court are a 24" vertical and mobility on the sand. I am a hard worker and willing to make the effort necessary to improve my skills and be a solid contributor for any program I join. In my spare time I enjoy additional cross-training in the gym and spending time with my family.
