There are many reasons why I would like to continue my diving career after high school.  First, is my love of competition.  It is the exhilaration of competing that heightens my senses and drives me  to the diving board to strive to perform well.  I take great satisfaction winning an event or getting a personal best.  I know it is a job well done when I achieve one of those goals.  It shows me and my coaches that my dedication to my training is not in vain.  Competition drives me. I love to be the team member scoring points and making a difference in winning a  dive meet.   The adrenaline rush can be intoxicating.  

Another reason I want to continue diving at the collegiate level is to belong to a team.  My dive team and my coach has been like a family to me.  I am excited about going to college and the next chapter in my life journey and know that diving  at the collegiate level will develop me into the woman I hope to be, to be someone…
