Emelia Samudio '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emelia Samudio and I am a senior in high school.  This is my second year diving and before that I was a competitive gymnast from the age of 5 years old until I was 15 years old.  I go to Faith Christian Academy in Arvada, CO but dive for Golden High School in Golden, CO.  I am the only diver on my team but train with 5 different high school teams .  Although I haven't been diving for very long I feel that I am extremely coachable in this sport and have the ability to learn even the most difficult dives due to my gymnastics experience.  I would love the chance to dive for a school that values a competitive spirit as well as the value of a great education.
