Ellie Fleischmann '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ellie Fleischmann and I'm a sophomore diver at Nazareth Academy High School.  I have been diving competitively for three years and I have developed a strong passion for it.  I hope to continue my diving career in college.  I dive for Windy City Diving Club as well as my high school team.  

I compete in 1 meter and 3 meter and I'm interested in platform as well.  I was able to attend the University of Texas Diving Camp the last two summers and had a lot of fun trying platform.  At the Texas camp last year, I won the 'Will to Win' award for my skills, dedication and attitude.  

I am the first girl to compete in Diving for Nazareth Academy.  Nazareth doesn't have a pool, so we needed to find a practice pool as well as a coach. My club coach Caiming Xie, former head Diving Coach at the University of Notre Dame agreed to be my high school coach. I practice at Windy City Dive Club two days a week and FMC Natatorium three days a week for both my high school and club seasons.  

I have qualified and attended AAU Nationals the last two years and I look forward to competing this year too. 

While I'm not diving I work hard at school and maintain a 4.0 GPA. 

I look forward to exploring collegiate diving opportunities.
