Hi! My name is Wen and I have been diving since the summer going into my freshman year. I am now a junior in high school. While I haven’t been diving for that long, before fully committing to dive full time, I was a competitive gym for 4 years. Making the transition from gymnastics to diving was pretty easy but some what hard to be able to starting going to my head. I would love the opportunity to continue furthering my diving career in college because I’ve done so much growth within this sport that will stick with me for the rest of my life. And I’d love to continue to make that growth over the 4 years in college that I have to dive. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in just the few years that I’ve been diving not only in the water but out of the water as well. School has always been a top priority to me, to keep up with along side my athletic careers. I remember staying up way later than I should be after practices to get assignments done the next day. I would love to join a program that allows for me to continue to excel in the academic field. In college, I would like to double major in Music Therapy and Biomedicine or biomedical engineering. I have always had music in my life and have been playing the violin since I was 6 so I wanted to be able to keep that in my life as I grew older. I would be thrilled to join a program where I can continue to excel in both areas of my life. Focusing both on my athletic career and my academic one.
