I am currently heading into my senior year at Farmington High School located south of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This will be my sixth year competing on a high school team and third year on a club team.
I have had much success and accomplishment throughout my time as a high school diver, including breaking many school dive records in the 2019 (6 dive - 262.35) and 2020 seasons (6-dives at 271.8 ) (11 dives at 435.35). Other highlights include being named NISCA All-American in 2020, winning the section 1AA Championships in 2021, in addition to All-State and All-Conference awards and participating in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) State tournament for four consecutive years. Throughout my academic career, I have maintained a 4.05 GPA and currently a member of the National Honors Society (NHS).
I believe that success and accomplishments are something worth celebrating, but are only a minor reflection of who somebody truly is as an athlete. This sport has taught me that having a strong work ethic and dedication are far more valuable and important than that of a title. My passion and love for diving is what keeps me engaged and drives me to keep learning and improving.
Although I do not have a strong 3 meter or tower list, one of my goals for the future is to gain more experience on those events and become stronger. For more diving content, check out my Instagram - @jschmuck_diving and YouTube - @Jordyn Schmucker
