Hello. My name is Samantha Camfield and I am a junior at St. Josephs Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been doing flips my entire life and after the end of my eight-year gymnastics career and 2-year trampoline and tumbling career, I was ready to continue my love for being upside down. I started diving my freshman year of high school and have been obsessed with the sport ever since. Diving has given me a growth mindset that I did not have before and continues to push me towards my goals of being a college athlete. I would like to continue my diving career into college because diving has taught me so much about what I can achieve when I put the work in and continues to help me grow as an individual. Not only am I dedicated to my sport, but also my studies and maintaining a high GPA. School is something I highly value and I do a great job at balancing time between both my education and my sport. I am very dedicated, hard working, and am willing to put in the work to achieve my own individual goals, as well as better the team I am on.
