I started diving in 2018 as a freshman at Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern, Pennsylvania. I have a 9 year background in competitive gymnastics up to level 9.
My first year diving I started with no prior experience except for gymnastics. I quickly excelled and qualified for districts at the first meet. I had worked the rest of my high school season to learn and perfect an 11-dive list to compete at districts. At districts I led the meet through round 8 and ended the meet in 5th place.
This past diving season I dove for my high school as well as started diving for West Chester Diving Club. I worked to get some dives back after an ankle injury as well as learn some new dives. I again qualified for districts at the first meet. At districts I ended in third place which led me to qualifying for states. Our season was cut short hours before states due to the CoronaVirus.
I am known for always being willing to try new dives and encouraging others on my team to do the same.
outside of sports I attend a all-girls catholic high school where I grow my education as well as take part in clubs like yearbook club and women in medicine. I also do a bunch of outside of school service which includes terrific tuesdays at my gym AJS Pancott. Terrific tuesdays us an opportunity every Tuesday throughout the summer to bring special needs kids into the gym to teach them gymnastics as well as basic life skills.
