THANK YOU for checking out my profile! I'd love to tell you a little more about myself! I am an enthusiastic student who is passionate about history and social/political sciences. Currently, I am an aspiring lawyer. Being a high student has been such a positive experience for me; I am thankful for the engaging growth opportunities, socially and academically. I have challenged myself by taking many AP and Honors classes, the rigor (although not always easy) is very stimulating. I am a proud member of National Honor Society, TRI M, Symphonic Band, French Club, Best Buddies, Mock Trial, Nicolet Swim & Dive, and a Merit Award winner. My Mock Trial team will completing at STATE this spring! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music (specifically the Beatles, specifically George Harrison), working as a lifeguard/teaching swim lesson, babysitting, and participating in my church's youth group. I am incredibly proud of the work my youth group does; volunteering and servicing disenfranchised members of our society has been been humbling and gratifying, in learning first hand that small efforts can make big impacts. I hope you can see that I pride myself on being a well-rounded young adult.
Now onto DIVING, why we are both here! Being on the board as a diver brings me the same spark as an academic challenge; as progress and growth know no limit. I have learned through trials and tribulations that this sport is requires a high level of perseverance, physically and mentally. My participation on the Schroeder Club Team and Nicolet High School team, in addition to attending summer dive camps at the Universities of Purdue and Tennessee, have helped me to create the mindset of: onward and upward! This mindset has helped me work through platuares, injuries, rehab, and mental blocks. Some of my dive highlights have included competing at Wisconsin D1 State (sectionals and regionals), USA Dive (meets, regionals, and zones), as well as YMCA nationals.
