Personal Statement

I strive for excellence not only in my academics but in my athletic capabilities as well.  I aim to find my full potential by having the perfect balance between being a scholar and an athlete. I want to discover a school that understands this important balance and desires for the improvement of its students. I am a strong, independent, and coachable individual who wants to find a school striving to provide me with the necessities I need to succeed in the future. Having lived only in the southwest, I would like to find a school to give me a sense of what other climates are like so I can experience the variety of environments our country has to offer. I love the sport I play and this devotion I have for it only makes me a better athlete; one could even go so far as to say a more improved and mature character. Comparable to the effort put in on the golf course, in the classroom I am passionate about the work I do so I can get the most desirable results and achieve the goals I set for myself. I want to be the best student-athlete I am capable of being. Thus, the school that can successfully harmonize both these qualities in a cultured environment is the one suited to further my potential.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
