Playing high school golf and being able to compete in events through JGAA has been an amazing experience for me. I found my passion in golf the summer going into my freshman year. I knew nothing about the sport of golf before that summer and I ended up falling in love so I decided to really pursue it and dedicate myself to the game. All of these experiences have made me grow as not just a student-athlete but a person overall. I am constantly striving to be a better player and to learn and build on my character skills through coaching and teammates.
I am very fortunate to be apart of a golf program that has allowed me to grow tremendously in many aspects. Going to these events has taught me the importance of always giving it your all. Knowing there is always something to work and improve on motivates me to do better. This is the exact reason I believe anything can be accomplished with hard work and a good attitude. Throughout my golf career I have learned many valuable lessons about dedication, integrity, diligence and what it takes to be determined. I am searching for a college that will be not just a good fit for me athletically but academically as well, because I also believe education is so important in life. I am a Christian and I am really looking for a school to challenge me spiritually, as I know the importance of having faith and loving God through all that I do. I know that I have the talent as well as the drive to play for a college team, and I would not go unnoticed due to my determination, perseverance and enthusiasm that I can bring to a program.
