Tiger Woods said, “Earn it in the dirt.” I am a hard worker, I practice and study with all that I’ve got. I learn everyday about my golf game and my academics, but most importantly about myself. I learn patience, how to bounce-back, how to be a team player, how to communicate with others, and how to approach life. Golf has tested me for the better mentally, physically and emotionally. I’m working on my distance and strength along with all other aspects of my game.
I’m seeking to play with a competitive golf team to grow my skills and to have fun! Academically, My goal is to obtain a degree in Business Management. Academics is very important to me; I attend Julian Charter which is a homeschool program. Through this program, I’ve had to be very independent and focused in my studies; It has allowed me to travel for golf and participate in events that would otherwise require missing school. Although I am unable to play on a High school team, I participate in competitive golf tours including AJGA, SCPGA, Toyota Tour Cup, San Diego Jr Golf and Future Champions to name a few.
Have you heard of the Ohia Tree? I connect with its meaning..It is a tree that is able to grow out of the lava flows, and it is a symbol of strength and resilience!
