My ultimate goal is to play on the LPGA tour, and I would love to represent your team as I continue on my journey. I have been very inspired and ambitious for the few years that I have been playing golf, and playing collegiate golf is a big step for me towards my higher goals. I have been very interested in learning more about my own body and how it relates to golf so that I can become the best player that I can by taking care of every aspect of the game, including my body and mind. Although I am very ambitious to lower my scores and elevate my game, I am a person first and love to enjoy the time that I get to spend out on the course with teammates, friends, and family. At the end of the day I want to be remembered as a golfer who was very friendly, funny, and helpful but also disciplined, ambitious, and focused. I appreciate every moment that I get to be challenged by new courses, see new environments, and get to be in nature for an early morning tee time as the sun is rising. My practice isn't only to reach my future goals but also to enjoy every moment on my path there. To give you a little more insight on my game, each year that I have been golfing, I have taken 10 strokes off my game. My scoring average is currently 81.5, and last year it was 96. Although my scoring average is not very low yet, I am consistently working on my game. As a golfer I have learned to efficiently set up my own practices and to diagnose my swing but am very open to feedback and work well with many different coaching styles. At my academy I workout every morning at 7am for an hour; after my classes I practice golf for 5 to 7 hours in the afternoon and fit in another workout or active recovery based on what my body and upcoming schedule call for. I am very dedicated and disciplined because of this schedule, and on top of it, I am balancing schoolwork. This past year I took 7 classes, which are all honors, and I have maintained a 4.60 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted.
