Golf has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. From early morning practices to competing in state and regional tournaments, the sport has taught me discipline, patience, and how to handle pressure. While I’m not completely sure if I’ll pursue a career on the LPGA Tour, I do know that I want to keep playing at a high level in college and continue growing both on and off the course.
Academics are just as important to me as athletics. I’ve worked hard to maintain a 3.0 GPA while balancing a busy golf schedule, and that’s helped me develop strong time management and organization skills. I’ve learned how to stay focused, set goals, and push through challenges, skills that will help me no matter what path I choose in the future.
Outside of school and golf, I’m also really involved in my community. I volunteer at the local food bank and serve as a member of the Junior Symphony League, where I help support the arts in my area. These experiences have helped me become more confident and understand the importance of giving back.
Right now, I’m excited about the opportunity to be part of a college golf team and explore my interests, especially in Business Marketing. I’m keeping an open mind about where golf might take me, but I’m committed to working hard, learning as much as I can, and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
