Mya Mirocha '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  I am excited to connect with college coaches that are looking for strong academic students that have a love for the game of golf.  I have been competing in tournaments since I was 12 years old. I have just finished my senior season and I advanced to the state finals and placed 8th overall. I shot rounds of 74 and 76 for a total of 150 for the tournament. 

I am a three-sport athlete with my main focus on golf, but I bowl in the winter and participate in track in the Spring season.  I have learned to focus on the sport I am participating in and deal with the pressure of performing well.  Along with the many achievements I have accomplished in golf I have also advanced to state in bowling individually.  Although I have advanced individually in the past, I am looking to join a team to form a good relationship with, and where everyone wants to be a part of the team.  Besides athletics, I have been involved in Key Club (Currently the President), Student Council and been a class officer.  Every summer I volunteer for four weeks to help teach children the game of golf.  I absolutely love sharing my knowledge and helping grow their love of the game.

I am open to any college size and any division since I attended a small catholic school pre-k through 8th grade and now attend a high school with approximately 525 students.  My plan is to major in Business and I am very excited to hear about golf teams that are looking for someone like me.
