  • IHSA State - T39th
  • 10/08/21 to 10/09/21
  • Well, that's a wrap. My HS career is over. Not the weekend I was hoping for but still a great experience. I shot 88-78. I hit the ball well but made some mental errors I haven't been making this year. I was thrilled to be there but I can't say my mind was 100% focused on golf as I had to get back to homecoming Saturday night. A girl likes to dress up you know. I'm looking forward to the next stage. Thank you to everyone that has viewed my profile and especially those that have followed me and contacted me about continuing my career.
  • Camp/Event
  • 2021 IHSA Sectionals - T12th (Advanced to State)
  • 10/04/21 to 10/04/21
  • Not my best day for sure. I shot 80. But it could have been a lot more. I did not have my best game today. I just could never get my rhythm. But I fought for every stroke and never quit. And it paid off as I ended up advancing. Sadly, our teams season ended. We were 15 strokes behind 3rd. It just wasn't our day.
  • Camp/Event
  • IHSA Regionals - MEDALIST - 75
  • 9/30/21 to 9/30/21
  • I'm so proud of my team and myself. We started this season not knowing where we were at with 4 new varsity players. It has worked out really well. We shot our lowest round of the year (343) at regionals. The course was tough but fair and the weather was great. Just hoping we can get one of those top 3 spots on Monday at sectionals.
  • Camp/Event
  • Galesburg Invitational - MEDALIST - 73
  • 9/25/21 to 9/25/21
  • I shot 73 for medalist. I was 4 under through the first 5 including a 95 yard hole out for eagle on the 2nd hole of the day (#7). I finished 2 over. I would have liked to have finished under par, but still excited to get medalist by 2 strokes against a super tough field including 2A powerhouse QHS. The pro said it was the lowest 18 hole score at a HS girls invitational ever at that course. I was was shocked by that. The team finished 2nd to QHS but we finished first among 1A teams. So we were super excited about that. Regionals are next.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual vs Farmington - MEDALIST - 37
  • 9/22/21 to 9/22/21
  • It was a little chilly, but the golf was not. It was a good night for myself and the team. We shot 169 as a team. That is a new low. All 6 varsity players shot 46 or better. Great night!
  • Camp/Event
  • Quad vs Havana, Rockridge & Monmouth - CO-MEDALIST - 39
  • 9/20/21 to 9/20/21
  • Super windy night! Also my last home meet of my HS career so a little sad. The team posted a 170. I'm super pumped about that. It was our best 9-hole meet score of the season. A great confidence builder heading towards the playoffs. With a score like that we have a chance of getting to state as a team. Yay! Fingers crossed.
  • Camp/Event
  • Macomb High Invitational - MEDALIST - 75 (2 hole playoff)
  • 9/18/21 to 9/18/21
  • It was a beautiful day for golf! I shot 75 and won medalist in a 2 hole playoff. This is my 3rd Invitational win this year to go along with one 3rd plus winning conference, but this is by far my biggest win ever against the best competition in the area. The team finished 2nd to one of the best 2A teams in the state (QHS). We are a 1A school. I'm really proud of myself and the whole team today. We're young but improving every time out. We're hoping to peak at the right time.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prairieland Conference Championship - MEDALIST - 78
  • 9/13/21 to 9/13/21
  • I started a little slow on my putting after a 5 day layoff due to an illness. I had a 4-putt and 3 3-putts on the first 9 for a 41 but cleaned it up on the back with a 37. The greens were the fastest I've seen all year, but I made the adjustment. The weather was perfect. One of my goals at the start of the year was to repeat as conference champion so I was very happy when I accomplished that goal.
  • Camp/Event
  • Quad vs QND, Havana & Canton - CO-MEDALIST
  • 9/08/21 to 9/08/21
  • Crazy windy!!! I shot a 38. Pretty good night considering conditions. I only hit 4 greens, but was either just over or just short of the other 5. Picking the right club was difficult with high winds, fast fairways and super hard greens. My up & down % was not good as I only got up & down 2 out of 5.
  • Camp/Event
  • Mercer County Invitational - MEDALIST
  • 9/04/21 to 9/04/21
  • I shot 79 for medalist honors on a course I'd never played before. It was a very nice course. Great but narrow fairways with lots of undulation. Same for the greens and really fast. The weather was overcast but otherwise perfect.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual vs. Camp Point - 3rd
  • 9/03/21 to 9/03/21
  • Not much too see here. Rough night!!! Nothing went right. Shot a 46. I had to par the last 3 holes to do that. lol! Going to put this one behind me.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs West Hancock & Camp Point Central - CO-MEDALIST
  • 9/02/21 to 9/02/21
  • I shot 42 (+5) It started off well but just couldn't get my rhythm tonight. It was my worst score of the year. It didn't help that they put 2 groups of JV boys on the tee in front of us. What normally takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes took 3 hours and I just wasn't having it. They shanked 2 at me and hit my bag on one and never yelled fore. Not a good night.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular Meet vs QHS & QND - T2nd
  • 8/26/21 to 8/26/21
  • I finished 2nd with a 37. It was a good night. It was very hot, but tolerable. Good conditions for golf. The team finished 2nd to a very good 2A team. We were happy to pull out a win over the other 1A team as they beat us earlier in the year and we may face them in regionals.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs Illini Bluffs - MEDALIST
  • 8/24/21 to 8/24/21
  • I shot a 39 for medalist. The team won 181-190. It was super hot and windy. I started off great and was -1 thru 7, but let it slip away on last 2 holes. Still not a bad round. Just not what I wanted.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs Porta - MEDALIST
  • 8/23/21 to 8/23/21
  • I shot a 37 (+1). It was an extremely good ball striking night but less than stellar putting night. I did make 2 birdies, but 3 putted 2 times and 1 more time from just off the green. I hit 7 greens in regulation and was driving the ball long and straight. The weather was a little humid but otherwise great conditions.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet @ Rushville/Industry - MEDALIST
  • 8/19/21 to 8/19/21
  • Medalist - I shot a 40 (+4). I was not happy with my game tonight. I just wasn't very sharp on my wedges and the putter wasn't there and I bogeyed the last 2 holes after being in good position on #8 and a good chip on #9. 30s is the goal every time. On a high note, I was bombing my drives and we won the meet as a team. Also 1 of my teammates had a personal best round so that was exciting. All-in-all a good night. The weather was a little warm, but pretty perfect conditions for golf.
  • Camp/Event
  • Redbird Classic - 3RD
  • 8/18/21 to 8/18/21
  • T - 3rd 74 (+3): In a very competitive 15 team field I tied for 3rd. 1st and 2nd were the last 2 state champions in Class A. I started slow. I was 4 over thru 4 then shot -1 over the last 14. I had my best competitive 9 of my career to date with a -2 on the back. Our team finished 4th which is great because we have 4 new varsity players this year. The weather was perfect.
  • Camp/Event
  • Lady Titan Invitational - MEDALIST
  • 8/14/21 to 8/14/21
  • Medalist - The first event of my senior year. I shot 79 and earned medalist honors. I was down 4 on the turn but kept fighting for a 2 stroke victory. The competition was really strong. The weather was perfect for golf, 70 and sunny.
  • Camp/Event
  • Decatur Jr. Championship
  • 7/18/21 to 7/19/21
  • WD - I shot 81 on the first day at Red Tail. It was a 39-42. I had to WD on the 2nd day. I have been playing on an ingrown toenail for a few weeks and it finally caught up with me. It was my right big toe and I just couldn't swing or walk on it anymore. I had it removed the same day and will be off for a couple of weeks. It has taught me that an athlete has to take care of their body first if they want to compete at the highest level. I'm looking forward to the start of HS season.
  • Camp/Event
  • Gateway PGA Junior Match Play Championship - SEMI-FINALIST
  • 7/14/21 to 7/17/21
  • Semi-Finalist - I lost on first extra hole of sudden death in semi-finals. The course played around 6000 yards. I shot a 38 on front nine and 42 on the back. The course is very hilly. I need to work on my stamina. I had my match won, but ran out of steam at the end a little. Not to take anything away from my opponent, but I let one slip away.
  • Camp/Event
  • QDOBA - MEDALIST
  • 7/07/21 to 7/08/21
  • Medalist - Shot 84-88 for 1st. Course played approx. 5850 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - 2ND
  • 7/05/21 to 7/06/21
  • 2ND - I shot 85-87 to T-2nd. It is my highest finish yet. I'm playing 5600-6000 yard courses most of the summer and they are not too long for me. At Ironwood I was only out 175 yards on a 500 yd par-5 (It was downhill with the wind behind me). I just need to eliminate the mental mistakes on a few holes. I started the 2nd day with a quad. It was frustrating but I kept fighting. I had seen the front 9 at a high school meet last fall, but never played the other 27 holes.
  • Camp/Event
  • National High School Championship Invitational
  • 6/23/21 to 6/25/21
  • I recorded my first hole-in-one on the final day of play at #5 on Pinehurst #8. I finished 85th out of 220 girls. I shot 82-89-82. I was very happy with my scores the 1st and 3rd days. 82 was about as bad as I could have scored those 2 days. I was very happy with the 89 also as it was about as good as I could've scored that day. I really struggled with my swing and fought the rights that day. It was a great experience just to be invited and get to play those courses though. I loved it and hope to go again someday. 5750-5950 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - 4TH
  • 6/14/21 to 6/15/21
  • 4TH - I shot 80-81 for 4th. I had played the front 9 last season in HS, but first time seeing the back 9. I was very dissappointed that I let my first opportunity for a Prep Tour win slip away, but it was a great learning experience. I hope to get the opportunity again. 5010 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • QDOBA - MEDALIST
  • 6/09/21 to 6/09/21
  • Medalist - I shot an 83 for 1st.

  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - TOP 10
  • 6/01/21 to 6/02/21
  • Top 10 - Great weather! I shot 84-88 to T-7th. Disappointed to shoot higher on the 2nd day. I had never played this course before. 5345 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - TOP 10
  • 5/29/21 to 5/30/21
  • Top 10 - Great weather! I shot 84-85 to T-10th. 5651/5799 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour
  • 5/01/21 to 5/02/21

  • Camp/Event
  • QDOBA - MEDALIST
  • 4/24/21 to 4/24/21
  • Medalist - I shot an 88 for 1st.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - TOP 10
  • 4/17/21 to 4/18/21
  • Top 10 - My first Prep Tour event of the season. I shot 93-86 on a course I'd never played before to finish 10th. The weather was perfect. 5250 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • QDOBA - 3RD
  • 3/27/21 to 3/27/21
  • 3RD - I shot a 91 for 3rd.
  • Camp/Event
  • Gateway PGA High School Championship - Tie 19th
  • 11/07/20 to 11/08/20
  • The St. Louis Gateway PGA was nice enough to host a state championship event after the IHSA event was cancelled. I hit the ball really well both days but got off to the worst starts imaginable both days. I was around 10 over after the first 4 or 5 holes both days. But I kept fighting. The second day, even after the bad start, I fired an 84 which was only 1 stroke off the low round of the day. Unfortunately I did not salvage the first day as well. I did end up tied for 19th out of 37 golfers. It was a great learning opportunity for me. I need to control my nerves and tempo at the start of events until I'm able to settle into my rhythm. Overall I would have loved to have performed better, but I'm taking away a lot of positives. I shot 94-84=178 for the 2 days. Conditions were very windy but great fall weather otherwise.
  • Camp/Event
  • Sectionals - Tie for Medalist 75 (+3)
  • 10/13/20 to 10/13/20
  • Great news and bad news. The team fought hard but came up a couple of strokes short of first. In a normal year we would still be heading to state though. Unfortunately the season ended today. On a high note, I had a career best round of 75 (+3) on a course I'd only seen the day before. I tied for medalist but sadly lost on first playoff hole with a 3 putt. I'm still very proud though. This year has exceeded my expectations with a conference championship and a tie for medalist at sectionals. I can't wait until next year. Weather: 15mph winds and chilly. I'm getting used to it. lol!
  • Camp/Event
  • Regionals - 6th Place
  • 10/07/20 to 10/07/20
  • It was a disappointing day and a disappointing finish. I finished 6th with an 83 and the team was 2nd by 3 strokes. We were all bummed to lose regionals at home. We all knew we could've played better but it just wasn't our day. On to sectionals. Hopefully we'll play our best. I'm glad I get another chance. I feel like I still have something to prove. The weather was perfect so no excuses today.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs Rushville - 2nd
  • 10/05/20 to 10/05/20
  • First real cold and windy match of the season. Great to get mind & body ready for postseason, but just wasn't there tonight. I shot 47 for 2nd place but I can play much better. The team won again!
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs Rockridge - Medalist
  • 9/29/20 to 9/29/20
  • I shot a 42 for medalist honors. I had a couple of loose holes that cost me the score I was looking for. It was chilly and overcast. The team got another win!
  • Camp/Event
  • West Central Conference Championship - Medalist
  • 9/28/20 to 9/28/20
  • Woohoo!!! The swing change and the work came together today. Plus a putter change over the weekend. I shot 41-39=80 for medalist on a very chilly and super windy yucky day. The wind was blowing 14-20 mph with gusts of 20-25 mph. I'm a little bummed that I bogeyed 3 of the last 4 holes to miss my first ever 18 hole round in the 70s but it's coming. It was by far my best round of the year and at the right time with regionals only a week away. The team won by 17 strokes. It's been a great season so far. We need to finish strong.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs Geneseo & Ottawa - 2nd Place
  • 9/26/20 to 9/26/20
  • Once again I would've like to have played better but I shot 43 and placed 2nd on a course I've never seen before. The team won 182-183 against a very good Geneseo team. The wind was crazy! 20-25 mph all day.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual vs Illini Bluffs - 2nd Place
  • 9/24/20 to 9/24/20
  • I would've like to have played better but not to unhappy with a 46 and 2nd place on a course I'd never seen before. The team won and the weather was great!
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual vs Farmington - Medalist
  • 9/23/20 to 9/23/20
  • Super proud tonight. I hit the ball poorly but scrambled better than ever. I shot 37 for medalist. The team wins again! It was a perfect night.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs United & BPC - 2nd Place
  • 9/21/20 to 9/21/20
  • I really fought the swing tonight. Shot 46 for 2nd but need to play better. The weather was great and the team wins again!
  • Camp/Event
  • Macomb Invitational - 3rd Place
  • 9/19/20 to 9/19/20
  • The first 18 hole event of the season. I was happy with the way I played but not the way I finished. I shot 38-46= 84. I was tied for medalist with 3 holes to play and went triple-triple-bogey to finish in 3rd. I need to work on focus and maintaining energy. Lesson learned! The team wins again and it was a beautiful day.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual vs QND & BPC (again) - 2nd Place
  • 9/14/20 to 9/14/20
  • Yay! I shot 38 to finish 2nd by a stroke. The swing change is getting easier. It was perfect weather and the team notches another win.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs QND and BPC - 2nd Place
  • 9/09/20 to 9/09/20
  • We finally got home and I was still struggling with a swing change. I just have to trust it and get through it. Shot a 48 which was good enough for 2nd. The team won again!
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs. Camp Point - Medalist (Tie)
  • 9/04/20 to 9/04/20
  • I'm fighting my swing but tied for medalist with a 44. The weather was perfect again. The team got another W!
  • Camp/Event
  • Quad vs West Hancock, QND and Camp Point plus Individuals - Medalist
  • 9/02/20 to 9/02/20
  • Not my best day but earned my 2nd medalist of the season with a 44. The weather was perfect so no excuses. We got another team victory!
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs Pekin - 3rd Place
  • 9/01/20 to 9/01/20
  • Tough day! I shot 54 for 3rd. I've never seen faster greens. Started okay but finished with 3 quads. Learn and move on. It was our first team loss of the season to a team that hadn't won yet. Never look past anyone!
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs Quincy Notre Dame & Rock Island - 2nd Place (tie)
  • 8/27/20 to 8/27/20
  • Macomb 165, Quincy Notre Dame 171, Rock Island 285 We moved to 5-1 on the season after winning a triangular at Westview Golf Course in Quincy on Thursday. Senior Laine Torrance led the team shooting a medal-winning round of 38. I was runner-up, tying my career best with a 39. It was a good day all-around but was bummed to shoot 3 over on the last 2 holes. I was only 1 over thru 7. I got off to the good start I've been looking for, now I need to focus on learning how to close.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual Meet vs. Normal Community High - 2nd Place
  • 8/19/20 to 8/19/20
  • We defeated a AA school on their home course, 173-183, that we had never seen before. We were all very excited. Our #1 was medalist with 41. I tied for 2nd, a shot back at 42. I played well except for an 8 on a short par-5. I had a little tree trouble.
  • Camp/Event
  • Triangular vs. Kewanee & Bureau Valley - 4th Place
  • 8/17/20 to 8/17/20
  • We won 175-197-238. I did not play well but was 4th over all with 46. I only had 1 par all day. I just couldn't get anything going but hung in a fought.
  • Camp/Event
  • Dual meet with Metamora - Medalist
  • 8/14/20 to 8/14/20
  • First 9 hole HS meet of 2020-21 season. Unfortunately we lost 186-177. I played #1 for the first time ever because our usual #1 was unable to make match. I was a little nervous at first and started out +5 thru the first 3. But then I drove the 240 yard par-4 4th hole and it settled me down. I finished +1 over the next 6 to shoot 41 and ended up medalist for the first time ever. I wish the team had won but I was very excited with the way we started the season having never seen the course before and only losing by 9 to a very good team at their home course.
  • Camp/Event
  • Culver’s Junior Challenge - 3rd Place
  • 8/07/20 to 8/07/20
  • I shot 40-40=80 for 3rd place. My best event by far so far. I hit 13 of 14 fairways, 15 of 18 greens and averaged about 250 off the tee. My longest drives were 261 on #18, 257 on #1 and 255 on #5. I 3-putted from 18 feet on 18 or it would've been a 79. So close!
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Tour - Hickory Point/Red Tail
  • 7/09/20 to 7/10/20
  • Shot 45-51=96 at Hickory & 43-47=90 at Red Tail to finish 37th out of 47. I played well and had 2 birdies and 11 pars in the 2 days but way too many others. I have to reduce the big numbers by focusing for every shot & club selection and playing out of trouble smarter. 5851/5651 yds.
  • Camp/Event
  • Pittsfield Jr. Amateur - DQ :-(
  • 7/07/20 to 7/07/20
  • SGot 47-43=90 for 3rd but DQ'd because my foursome teed from wrong tee on hole #7. Tough lesson, but a good one. I won't make that mistake ever again. Temp was close to 100 w/ almost 100% humidity. Bummer to get DQ'd but otherwise happy for never seeing course before and heat.

  • "Lily is very fast. Her club head speed is excellent. She's also strong. Her legs are a real power source. Her endurance is good. This past year she played her best when it meant the most. Lily gets along well with her teammates and she makes friends easily. This includes her teammates and players from other teams. I enjoy giving her lessons." ~Mark Christensen, Owner - Christensen Golf Academy Quincy, IL. (Gateway PGA Teacher of the Year 2012)
