My name is Isabella and I am from the Midwest in corn country, attend a large high school and live with my parents on our family golf course. I am the middle sister and the most ambitious of all three of us. With unlimited access to golf courses, I have been golfing for the last six years and most recently qualified as an All-Conference golfer. I worked the summers as a lifeguard and at my parent's golf course. I want to attend a college that can challenge me athletically while providing a solid academic experience.
Coming from the Midwest I am looking to spend my 4 years in a different, warmer climate. I would not miss the ice and snow. I am a versatile and adaptable student. I was the new student when I transferred to public school after years of wearing a catholic uniform. I spent my early years in Catholic school which taught me structure, commitment, how to be humble and how to bear wearing plaid everyday.
I was happy and thriving in this giant high school of 400 students in my class. . Unfortunately, I had a major set-back my sophomore year. I was and still am a high school cheerleader but in early January 2019 I was dropped from a stunt and broke both my top and bottom jaws, fractured ear canal, lost several teeth and endured multiple surgeries. Junior year was my comeback year, regaining strength and mental toughness, I returned to the shoulders of my teammates. I continued my golf career and most recently was qualified as an All-Conference golfer and runner up with a round of 78 in a girls golf invitational.
I am anxious to continue my comeback. I am anxious for warmer weather and I am even more anxious to attend a college that can move me towards the next level of my academic and athletic career.
