I first began golfing when I was 6 years old, playing with my family and in a local tournament. When I met my personal coach he saw something in me and has helped me develop my game to where it is today.
The highlight of my career so far has been winning the Manitoba Junior Championship in 2016 and being a finalist for the Female Amateur Golfer of the Year award. Another one of my big accomplishments was winning the High School Provincials as an individual. My biggest obstacle I have is the amount of driving I have to do. My coach is an hour and a half drive and I travel 3 or more hours to tournaments.
In my off season, I play in a few other sports. I play High School Volleyball, High School Track and Field, used to be a competitive swimmer, as well I enjoy to downhill ski in the winter.
I have my Stroke & Turn Judge certificate for swimming as well as the Timer position. In November of 2016, I got my Respect in Sport Certificate as well as my SafeTalk Certificate. I was also the Athlete of the Week in Manitoba in September of 2016.
In the summer, I helped at a junior clinic that was held at a golf course near me,
