Aloha, my name is Anna and for 9 years now I have been playing golf competitively ,Germany and all over Europe, and aspire to continue to do so in college.
During my exchange semester in Hawaii I played for the varsity golf team for my high school HPA.
Originally I am from a city called Augsburg in Germany and playing for my hometown‘s team is an honor and I have loved doing so for many years. Winning the bavarian state championship with my club team was pure bliss.
Over the last couple of years I also got to be a part of the bavarian state golf team and we placed 3rd in the national state team championship.
What I love about golf is the variety of shots it provides and the need for you to adapt to different conditions and situations. Playing in a team makes it all the more fun because you can support and push one another.
Getting to play beautiful courses on Big Island Hawaii ,during my exchange, was a lot of fun and I got to share it with my amazing team there leading up to me winning the 2024 BIIF championship.
As you can see I have been part of a couple different teams throughout my career making me able to adapt to a new one and spread my team spirit.
I love being part of a team and striving for excellence.
I‘m looking forward to starting this new chapter of college golf soon. Until then I will keep pushing myself to get better and enjoy my time on the course.
