Mayte Esmeralda Servín Ortiz '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm currently looking for a place to transfer, as of now, I'm a sophomore at BSU in WV, which is a DII. My dream is to keep playing college golf. You may be wondering, Why recruiting her?. Well, I'm going to tell you what makes me a great candidate for your team. The first thing is that golf is my passion, I try to practice every day if the weather lets me, not because I feel like I have to, but because I want to be better every single day. I know that I haven't been golfing since I was a child, but when I started in this sport (5 years ago), I knew that was it, and I've never stopped training to get better. That's why, in these few years, I've improved a lot. When I'm not playing golf, I'm dreaming about it, learning more, so I can improve my game, or volunteering in some golf tournaments, such as the Vidanta Open 2022. 

Some of my best qualities are that I'm very disciplined, self-motivated, optimistic, fussy, and I never give up, no matter how hard it is sometimes. Even though I work out a lot, I have good grades, and I also speak and understand English perfectly because I learned it and have practiced it since I was 6 years old.
