Hi there! My name is Sakinah I am 17 years old and I'm from Malaysia. I’ll be graduating highschool in 2025. I am seeking a golf scholarship to pursue my golfing dreams!

If I would describe myself, I would say that I’m an active and outgoing person who loves adventures and trying out new things. 

Growing up, I have always been an active child and inevitably I fell in love with sports quite early on in life. I practically have been a student athlete for a vast majority of my schooling years. At just 8 years of age, I was already an active competitive swimmer and triathlete all the way untill I was 11. However, at 12 years old, a new door opened for me and I fell in love with the sport called golf, and that’s where my current journey begins. My passion for golf is endless and nothing can make me say otherwise.

Not only do I strive for my sport, I do also firmly believe that education is a crucial part of being a “student-athlete”. No matter how packed my golfing schedule is, with a little discipline and proper time management I am able to maintain a satisfactory grade on all of my exams.

I am confident that furthering my education alongside doing the sport I love through college golf is the right path for me. Being in a college golf team and working with my teammates have been one of my longing dreams ever since I’ve played golf competitively. I’ve even been awarded ‘best team player’ by my academy for my endless support to my teammates throughout each season and with this, I think that I will be a great addition to your golf team.

Currently in the year 2024, I am a member player in the Malaysian National Junior Development Program. I've also manage to compete and represent my state in the Malaysian national school games 2024 and the Malaysian games 2024.
