Madalin Small '21 Recruiting Profile

It has been my dream to play college golf ever since my dad introduced me to the sport at age 8. I’ve learned more from playing golf than most things in my life so far. It has taught me patience, integrity, good work ethic as well as dealing with the ups and downs of life. As I’m sure we both know golf is a roller coaster ride, and I believe there is no end to how much you can improve if you really work at something. Learning from others is something I feel also helps tremendously. I’m willing to work as hard as I need to in order to reach my highest potential. This is why I feel I could be a good candidate for your team.  

Academically, I feel the same drive and commitment as I feel on the golf course. I am currently on the honor roll at my school and have been all year. I will do whatever it takes to maintain that spot. However, I understand being perfect and the best you can be all the time is not possible. I love to take the downs/losses in life and turn them into learning experiences to help me do better the next time. I would love to bring my passion and commitment to improve in golf and the classroom to your golf team.
