Shannon Kennedy '21 Recruiting Profile

In May of 2017 , I made a decision that I was fully committing myself to playing college and professional golf.    This August my hard work started to pay off as I was able to qualify for two AJGA tournaments (77/74) and win two High School golf tournaments (74/74)

In September I broke the female course record at the Detroit Golf Club with a 3 under par 65.   In October I won the Michigan High School  Division 2 State Championship with a 76-70.

I was the 4th freshman in history to make the State of Michigan "Super Team"

I have always loved sports and have been very competitive in every sport I have played.  I played boys travel hockey for several years, and one year of girls in  2017 (we won the State Championship in April).  In the past I have run track, swam, and played boys baseball.   I currently am the only freshman on the Varsity Basketball team that is ranked 10^th in the state.
